Thanks for taking the time to look at this hopefully I can get some help.
Just so you know I am not a complete newbie to car audio. My Escalade has a pio 7500 in dash 4 visulogic headrests 2 Icon 15" flip downs, Infinity kappa perfect 6.5 components and 8 12" Alpine type Rs. Now comes the question, My new daily driver is a 2003 exploder I work for circuit city so I can get a pretty good deal on infinity, kicker, polk and MTX. However CC has stopped carrying Alpine and I have 8 15s dual 4s I was going to put into my truck with 2 Orion XTR2100 pros 2000 watts at 2 ohms. I do not have much hands on with the other brands I am wanting some input on if I should keep my current system or try something else. I was thinking about L7s? As far as airspace is concerned I am walling my truck which will give me approx. 48 to 50 cubic feet so i have plenty of air. I am running a pio 9600 head unit and also wondering who makes a good 3-way component?

Thanks for your help!

who makes good 3-ways? depends on your budget. I know decent ones from $250 or so all the way up to $5000+.

As far as subs, you'll lose sound quality with the L7 over the Alpine Type Rs.

I would try something else. I am willing to bet that (4) 12" Resonant Engineering XXX would be able to take on 8 alpine type Rs and get just as good of SQ, if not better.

What are the 8 15's? Also are you walling behind the fron or back seats? Walling behind the back seats isn't the greatest......firing up would probably be better.
