many problems in my mk3

So, among many other things in my wonderful supra, The heater has what I like to call the "California rolling blackout feature." It works usually on a cold start, and when it is a warm start, usually it just blows cold air, sometimes laying a patch of rubber makes it start working, but not usually. What's up? any help would surely be appreicated. Also, my turn signals haven't worked since I bought it. The stick clicks but there's no little turn signal noise, no blinker on my dash, and the tail signals don't work. I've pulled the lights and bulbs are good, fuses were good when i checked. And for the grand finalie, the car idles at about 1700 rpm, gets a little eratic after running, but generally it stays in that zone, it is a 7m-ge if you need that info. ANY INFO WELCOME. For your turn signals you need to check the switch. If its not that then it may be the relay.

I have a parts supra, so I pulled the turn signal stick off that and I haven't gotten them switched yet, but I'm not too sure that will do it, because the hazard button doesn't do anything either. ANd I did change out a relay in back by the tail lights for the signal, is there another relay for them?

There should be a main control relay in the dash or the under hood fuse box. I'm not sure on the exact location because I have never gone looking for it.

i accidently mixed up my positive and negative terminals in my battery, now my car doesn't start and i don't hear the fuel pump cut on..... i though it might have been a fuse so I went ahead and changed it, but some people tell me I fried my ecu, what is ur opinion on this?

Sounds like its time to find somone that is good with a wire diagram and a multimeter.

You've checked ALL the fuses? Kick panel, behind the battery? Even the few in the pass side kick panel (for a/c but might as well)? Have you pushed the CB in the drivers kick panel? Most likely if you hooked it up wrong it would have also tripped.

uh, CB? not sure what that is. But I have checked like EVERY fuse in the car, driver side, pass side, and under the hood. I think I'm just gonna choke up the cash to get the turn signals fixed, or just pay to hav ehtem diagnosed, thanks for the hints. How about the ideling? anyone have a hint on that?

CB = circuit breaker. Its a round silver cylinder next to the fuses, has a hole in the middle, stick a tooth pick in it and see if it clicks. My post was in response to HondaOz though. For your problem it's most likely what TcmaBoy said, the turn signal relay. One thing to try though, because you never know who has touched the car, is pull the black center surround off and see if the hazard switch is even plugged up. If it is unplugged nothing will work like you described. I don't know what to tell you about the high idle, just the basics. Check to see if anything is pinching the throttle cable, check to see if anyone messed with the idle set screw in the back side of the throttle body (has a yellow drop of paint on the screw).
