Do I really have to remove the whole dash to remove the factory deck on an 05 Accent. Normal DIN install or what? If so, whats the easiest way? This is probably a stupid question...

Only the panel around your radio and heater knobs needs to be remved. Open you cup holder and remove the screws inside the pull the bottom out working your way up the sides to the top. it is held on by clips, you will also have to unclip some other knobs and buttons along the way. Hope this helps, email me if you run into trouble.

rally...thanks for your help. After I get that far, it seems the whole air conditioning unit is attached to the panel. Am I missing the clips or something because the whole unit for the heater and vent knobs is attached by screws to that panel facing toward the engine and I've tried and tried to get a screwdriver in and it's not going to happen! I have to shove my hand in w/ the screwdriver up under the dash by the gas pedal through all the wiring just to get to those stupid screws! Help, I'm stuck and I have to do another install and I'm not trying to go through that again.
