I'm gonna suggest you go with the 793 GFX 9,000's (? ?).

I love you baby!

I am in a similar situation. I also own a 94 Si. The DC Sports Ceramic 4-2-1 header seems to be a solid choice. Import Tuner has an article on their i/h/e upgrade to their 95 Prelude that you should definitely check out. http://www.importtuner.com/tech/0406it_ppprelude/index.html
I hope this helps you out.

In my opinion, and the general consensus on this site, DC sport headers for the prelude are a total waste of money. The look nice, but if you want to pay over $300 for a gain of 2-3 horsepower, that's your call. The prelude headers are already substantial. The only way to get any noticable gains from a header is to spend close to a grand on Mugen or SMSP headers.

how much money exactly are we talking here... and how much horsepower does it add?

We're talking about $800. But I believe the headers giving low gains applies only to the H22 engines. If that's the case you could go with DCs.

my friend ut the dc 4-2-1 ceramic headrers on his lude, he said it was the best modification he has put on his car.

I had DC Headers on my old '94 Lude VTEC and they we're great...but has anyone tried the Mugen or the SMSP headers? also...the "import tuner" article said DC headers worked just find with the Prelude..actually a lot better then they did with other N/A car's they had tested...oh and that engine had 240K and still had gains of about 5 HP/torque...I think that's great for headers..I mean let's face it no headers will give you more then 5-10HP...but then again I only tried DC...so how knows...let's get some responds on people who have/tried out Mugen headers...

Mwaha, I started some controversy. The article was written about a H23 engine, so I don't quite see how you can say it is a waste. But...I am not the expert and would never claim to be. I was just sharing what I had read. SBallerk2's suggestion is a good one. Someone should provide dyno results of the Mugen or SMSP headers.

I didn't save the sight, but the first time I heard about SMSP headers, I did some research. They're supposed to be the best. The article I read was dynoed at an extra 14hp at the wheels. Mugen headers have comparible gains. I beliebe the dyno was done for an H22. If I can find it again, I'll be sure to post it.

I remember awhile ago on HT that a guy dynoed before and after his SMS and got 21whp. It may be a combination of manifold efficiency and proper tuning, but... that's still fairly startling for a header alone.

I've got a DC-S header on an H22 right now. Not reccommended.

21whp!! thats pretty damn crazy. its worth it if it would really increase that much. for $800, you get more horsepower then all the mods put together on that importtuner article. it is a lot of money for just a header but if i had some proof that it would really increase by at least 15whp, i would seriously consider getting it.

btw, i have a dc header and its pretty good. cant really tell if it made a difference by itself because i put on several mods at one time. one thing that sucked was when i put on the header, there was a piece of weld missing!!! air was coming out so i had to call dc sports and i sent it back and they welded it and they sent me back to me. dont they say they test everyone?? thats pretty retarded how they can just forget to weld a part of a header. the weld missing was where the pipe meets the flanges. i was so surprised and a real bummer when you finish installing everything.
