I need some serious help here I have read alot of post here and everything points at the ignition swith. Here is the story I was driving my Blazer when it suddenly died on me,I tried restarting it...but no luck... the engine was turning but no fire. I notice when I turn on the car I didnt hear the fuel pump primp ( little humming sound) so at first thought my fuel pump died on me. I also have a remote starter installed on my blazer, the process with that is when I remotely start it I have to put the key in the ignition and turn the key and step on the brake and the car should be on (step on the brake with out the key in the ignition the car turns off) Here is the weird part. I can start my car with the remote start and it drive just fine (never drove too far) every now and then when I remote start and put the key in the ignition it dies but on the second try it stays on. Last but least..every now and then when I wiggle the key in the ignition I hear the fuel pump kick in and its starts.
Can yall lend me some advise to what could be going on here?

I would check the ignition switch and connector first since your remote start is providing it's own power to the vehicle bypassing the switch. I don't know why it would shut off when you put the key in. Is the remote start hardwired to the stop lamp switch or sense draw? If it's draw sensitive, the ignition switch might be powering up other accessories that the remote is sensing. Also when you jiggle the key, the only electrical connected to it is the ignition switch.
