Right side lean fuel

My service engine light is on steady - went to Auto Zone and their sensor read the right bank fuel was running lean. I put a bottle of the fuel injector cleaner in and the light is still on. Is this representative of more problems?

Did you have the "check engine light" cleared after you made your repair?

If not, you'll have to wait, hmmm..what was it now? I'm going to say 15
"Driving Cycles" for the repaired condition to clear the light on it's own.

I don't recall the actual distance of 1 driving cycle, but I think it's minimum 15/20 miles.

I'll stand corrected if someone can remember the actual figures.

Depends on what is causing the lean reading. Does the engine run smoothly? Don't overlook the basics like a engine miss which will play havic with the PCM. It could be a clogged injector and the cleaner could help. Take a long screw driver and position the tip end against the injector and the handle to your ear. You can hear the injector operate. They should all sound about the same. If one sounds different it could be the injector, wiring, or PCM.
