I just purchased my first supra, its and 1987 turbo 5-speed. Now seeing how i'm very new to the owning of foriegn cars i am having a lil trouble finding a few good places to purchase performance parts from. I've been searching the web for a bit and it seems like i am either not looking in the right places or they don't really make too many aftermarket parts for this generation supra.
First things first i need to through some exhaust on this car i'm looking for any suggestions people might have.
I also desperately need to find a short throw shifter cuz i feel like i'm driving truck with how long the throw is in this car.
Please if anybody can help me out with this and possibly tell me some places where you get all your performance mods from that would be great.

http://www.suprasport.com/ (dedicated specifically to the A70)
http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/
http://www.powerhousejimbo.com/ (has some good stuff sometimes)
http://www.mkiiisupragraveyard.com/ (for used stock parts)
http://www.toyotaworld.com/ (new stock parts)
http://www.ebaymotors.com/ (of coarse...)
There are ALOT more than that but those will get you started. True not many compaines make parts for the A70 anymore but you will always find used JDM aftermarket parts. Also you will want to set the online TSRM as your new homepage, you'll probably be using it alot.

For the exhaust the only thing you really want is to make sure it's atleast 3" straight through. Tons of catbacks and DPs were produced, HKS (Sport, Turbo, and Dragger), Trust, Bee R, 5Zigen, Jasma, RSR, Tanabe, RT, and the Supraforums member BIC.

For the shifter your only option is a very expensive C's unit, SOGI does have a "short shift" mod but I suggest you don't do it because it only puts the shifter into a hole and moves it miles away from the steering wheel.
