i don't mean anything bad by it, i was saying there is alot of DSM guys out here, that's all. (i'm one of them). The street races are pretty good, but it is hard to find them. your best bet is to go to gandy and alot of them meet there about 11:30 to 12:00 and then just try to follow.

I just had a run with a mustang earlier. It was a 96 though gt. It was loud and stuff. I kinda got lag, but he only put half a car on me. i was in 4th from 55 when we went at it. I wasnt thinking :grinno:

where i live, the mustang is by far the most popular car. i work in a supermarket, and whenever i walk out into the parking lot, i see an average of atleast 4 stangs parked out there.

Hey EclipseRST, I lived in Tampa for 18 years. When you are there try to make it to Ybor City. It's not a city though--it's a street in Tampa thats like a half mile long with nothing but bars and clubs. They even block the street off on Friday and Sat. nights so people can puke or pass out without being worried about getting run over. PS-watch out for the hidden camera's if you go though!

Don't let how loud a mustang is fool you. I raced my friend's mustang gt the other day and killed him. His mustang sounds so nasty, like it would tear any car up. Its really slow though. He bought the car at an auction to sell again (wholesaler) and found out the whole engine bay had been messed with (cobbled up), so after all that it ends up slower than stock.

Well everything is going good. It looks like his car should be done tonight... Valve seals are in and everything is cleaned up ready to be put back together. Called the weather phone this morning when I got up and it is 13 degrees in MN :lol2: Glad I am down here where it has been 75+ and sunny!!!

HA... I'm back and it sucks! Its 8 degrees right now and I'm freezing my ass off. Spent all day practicing for my icerace (ice racing dirtbikes with studded tires - CWIRA) this weekend and it was cold!

Anyways everything went awesome, had a few minor problems but other than that it turned out good.

Then after the beach we decided to drive to Daytona to visit GSTRacerNVUS (aka: Sarah) where we went to her house, met her boyfriend and his Caprice on 22s :D The pimp mobile!

Then we cruised around for a little bit getting the tour of the town... Some probe tryed to race Sarah and she waxed him. Then we pulled up to a stop light and she (completely stock GST) schooled Joemathews in his freshly powered TSI AWD with a Evo III 16g :lol2: Major props to Sarah... SHE CAN DRIVE better than any girl I know. Very impressive.

I have never seen a bear crossing sign before even though we have bears here in MN so I had to take a pic of that.

Girls that can drive are cool. My ex with the Vortech powered Civic schooled her share of cocky male drivers. She knew how to drive standard when she got it, I gave her some pointers in an industrial park, and over the coming months she really got a good grasp on the concept and continued to learn. The best example I think was driving from Rockingham Dragway in NC, back to duke (after she took me out in the first round of brackets by the way..). Two guys that told her she was stupid for getting the Vortech and not the Jackson Racing SC ended up in her crosshairs. She smoked one, then the other, like a trained killer. I was driving behind her in the POS GSX, so I made sure to smoke each one as well on my way by, just to add insult to injury. Ahhh the good old days...

Yeah, girls with fast cars that can actually drive them are very cool. :D Joe, don't feel bad, I've been in your shoes too. And my ex wasnt the only girl I've lost to ;)

guys from gainesville are nuts. ive seen florida videos! IMVfilms (.com) people are awesome with a camera, and go on all of the best trips like the gumball. Even hulk hogan wanted to get in on their video :) Too bad i'm poor and haven't bought it yet.
