alright,
I have just replaced my engine completely. So I put another 2.8 in there...During the winter Im going to build a 383 or 350 engine. Now, my car is rather close to overheating when I am at a stop light or at anystop...the reason for this is becasue my radiator fan is dead. My question is: what kind of fan must I used for the camaro 2.8? Do I use the single or double fans?? the ones with one fan or 2....Does it make a difference?? The iroc has 2...mine...im not sure...
thanks for your input!

One fan is plenty sufficent up to like 220 kick on. for up to v-8's.
You can install a dual set up , they are all over the place on ebay. Just get one off an iroc and install it on there , it should have the clips and connection points already on it unless they cut them off to remove. Throw it in there and if you still overheat , It's probably something else. If your fan is dead , bump it's main lead with a line from the battery and see if it turns , if it does , It's a relay or perhaps a sensor somewhere in the heat / cooling system. if it doesn't turn , your fan is dead. You can remove your thermostat for the time being to keep it about 20 degrees cooler until you figure something out.
