Im thinking about ordering the widebody from extremedimensions.com but im still not sure. I have decent body experience from my celica but i want to know what kind of stuff goes into doing a widebody. What i really want is pics of the process of putting one on, or even just pics of the kit not put on to see if i can handle it. Thanks to anyone that can help me.

seen it on a video but no pics. basically the hardest part is the buid up on the rear gaurds, have to attatch to the car with rivets and cover them with glass, then make it look ike it was like thqt from the factory. most of the kit is bolt on replacements...front gaurds, bumper, skirts, rear bumper, boot lip extension, rear gaurds, fue cap cover.

considering the REALLY low number made, they are prob both fakes. also, the original is about 10 grand. I heard there were 11 in the US.

i'm just curious, can u tell the difference between the real and the fake widebody kit. i mean, after it's been installed in ur car and it's been painted, can u really tell the difference. getting the real kit is the best, but i think saving a few thousands of dollars on an imitation isn't that bad, considering when no one knows it's fake anyway.

Yeah I've Been Wondering That Too... I Think Some You Can Some You Can't, You Spend More Making A Fake Kit Fit If Its A Bad One.

With The Trd Kit, Sometimes I've Seen Immitations That Dont Have All The Parts, Like The Boot (trunk) Extension. They Might Come With Them But The Guys Selling Them Have No Idea So It's Hard To Tell....

the way to tell the difference: there are 7 real ones in the states. if you meet someone who has a "real" one and it is in fact, one of those 7... they'll definately know what they are talking about when it comes to the car. if you hear that it's real, and it is the same type of person... they'll have the decency to tell you that it is a replica.

mmm but can you tell by looking cause those of us who don't have fort knox pockets probably care more about how it looks..

the fake ones usually dont line up with the body correctly... and it takes a lot of money to make a fake one look good (because of imperfections in manufacturing).

the easiest way to assume is that if it doesn't come with a 3" thick instruction manual and like 20 baggies of hardware... that it's not real.

ok, but surely some of the fake ones are reasonable... so who makes the best one?
