Official Supra pics!!!!

Well, I posted this in the other Supra rumers part, but nobody answered cause thaat part is dead. So here it goes........

There is a supercar Toyota is comming out with. It might be a V10, TT V6, or hybrid (oh dear god, no). Its most likly gonna have paddle shifts. Anyways, they dont know if it will be called the Supra, or when it comming out, but what they do know is that Toyota is pretty serious. These shots are of it being tested at Nurbergring.

The wing isnt gonna make it to production, and they are planning to change the rear lights. They might also do a better looking front bumper. I got all this info from MotorTrend mag, and channel4.com.

I think you misinterpted this...This is about a month old, And it said in motor trend toyota MIGHT launch a $100,000+ super car if they do good in F1...Still mad cool! I also think it is mid engine, the front has no air going to it, and its a short overhang...

No, its a front. They say it might be paddle shifts, because of the rear mounted tranny.

Who knows and who cares. The car is still in the concept stages and no real decisions have been made on anything. that could be a new supra, it could not be. I for one would hate to see toyota come out with another supra. I think I speak for just about any real supra enthusiast simply because the legacy on those cars is second to almost none and there's no sense in ruining a great name. It's the same way in a sense when the Ford T-bird and the new Mustangs came out. Two great cars of their times and now they are basically ruined because they were resurected. Sometimes the memories are better than the realities.

If they bring it back as a slow car, then yea it shouldnt be called the Supra. But if this is Toyota's supercar like they say it is, then I hope it is...

the new mustang isnt exactly afailure.... they are well priced for what tehy are.. now the tb yes.. i think that if they bring back the supra it would be another over priced gimmick that is relieing on a name to make profit....at least im my personal opinion

Hey your right. If they do bring it back overpriced thats gonna kill it, and I would hate to see the Supra go like that. So maybe it wouldnt be such a bad idea to call this one a Lexus instead.
