AF DSM decals design ideas

If anyone has any ideas of what the decals should say or what they should look like, please post them here. Anyone that can draw, or that is good at photoshop please make a design and post it.

Once we get a good amount of designs, we can vote for a favorite. Then, I can get some prices. If anyone has any connections to decal places or ricer shops that make decals or anyone that make decals please get some prices when we get a design.

Jake/Joe do you think we could put up an ad for the company that makes the decals on just this forum or maybe can add a special thanks to the FAQ. Of couse, we would only do this if the company gives us the decals for free or at a discounted price.

Like what kind of decal were you thinking of? A windshield banner or a huge logo type thing that would take up the entire hatch?

I vote for a windshield banner and a really nice sans serif font. But "AF DSM" would have to be stretched so far it would look goofy. So maybe the banner isnt the best idea...maybe.

I personally I would not want a banner. I was just thinking of small ones for the rear windows. Maybe a little bigger than the tuners decal below.

Okay i see...what about one for the rear quarter window? That could stay relatively small, yet still get the attention it deserves and none it doesnt. I dont wanna be a ricer. But im more than willing to support the AF.

EDIT: Nevermind, I didnt read your post close enough. But im all for the rear quarters.

Haha. But I really really like the sound of AF DSM. Its just that only I would know what it meant. And I guess im okay with that. It would just give a reason for someone to talk to me about my car(future car).

Maybe have AF DSM big and bold, then smaller and offset to the right, underneath the "AF DSM " put www.automotiveforums.com. That sounds good. I sure wish i had photoshop at home, id throw something together.

i like yours clipsekid but i would use a different font that one is kinda tribal/ricey. id like something more like what dsmtuners is

Nice. I am working on one, anyone here know what the Eclipse font is called. Like the one used on the back of the car. I had it and I cant seem to find it now :rolleyes:

i like ashahs font. maybe do what he did but with a big DSM above or below it in the same font.

Ya i'm thinking just a decal to go across the winshield. If I ever get 5 min, i'll whip up somthin on my aunts sign program! When should this be done?

hey, good design so far but i think there is something missing. not sure what, but i think it just looks a little to "basic", not sure how else to describe it. if you know what i mean?? perhaps something a little less busy? Not sure, I will play i think something is off though. oh, and i have a hook up at a sign shop that makes decals and stuff, i worked as summer apprentice.

me too, i think with all the logos it is too much to look at and take in. even if we got rid of the three names "eclipse talon laser" it would be cool too. less is more

maybe put the first picture's DSM font on the second one's

I think once we get a solid design down (is this one looking like the one) then we can let people know and I am sure that there will be more interest in actually getting one.

Is there a "i" in front of the Eclipse and Laser? Or are my eyes fucked?

No, i see what you are looking at. It will come out normal on a decal. Just the font and with all the different saves and stuff it messes it up.
