I've tried so many differant wheel cleaners it aint even funny, from eagle one, to blue magic, to meguiers etc. They all worked ok, but needed heavy scrubbing/hand rubbing to remove caked on brake dust/road grime.
This is what i recomend.
Get this product called Orange Blast, from Greased Lightning (orange bottle/sold at walmart). This is a general purpose degreaser.
Spray that on the cool wheel, let it sit for a good 6 minutes, then proceed to wash it off with car soap, and a terry cloth rag. The key here is also HOT water, when you fill up a bucket with the water, put enough car soap so it's nice and bubbly. Make the water almost hot enough to burn your hand, yet bareable. Just go over the sprayed rim with the rag cleaning it, the brake dust comes right off-it works great.
Rinse with water.
Then apply the liquid armor all/black magic tire wet to either a rag, or foam applicator and go over the dryed rim. Wipe off the excess of the shine product.
That lasts, the armor all, or whatever liquid shine (liquid, not the spray foam) you use really makes the rim jump out at you.
PS, do not spray the orange blast on the paint, it strips wax in a heart beat.

No, its a photoshop, but it will be lower then normal, hopefully by the end of the month. I started to install my Intrax 2" Lowering kit Sunday night, but I have to go to Napa to get new tie rod ends, sway bar ends, and upper controll arms, since mine are all worn to shit. So far i've removed the right strut, and got the new spring on it, and got the right strut off, and taken apart, and just needs to be bolted back together. $200 for replacement parts, plus $200 for springs themselves, and I didnt even start the back yet...

I use Mr. Clean in a spray bottle and it cleans wheels and tires, especially the tires, makes them look like new without any highlighter for rubber.Try that a couple of times on the tires and watch how the tires come to life with a good black look and white letters as well. The brake dusy comes off easy as well with regular washing.Used this for years and will continue to.
camarossboy, that Bird looks great the way you have it setup.I dont like lowered cars cars much, but have to say yours looks very good!!
