Horn sounds when keyless entry activated/deactivated

Hi Folks!

Does anyone know the procedure to stop the horn from activating each time I lock or unlock my doors using the remote control. I don't mind the parking lights flashing but the horn is a little annoying at 3AM in my quiet neighborhood when I get home from the night shift.

I asked this same question a while ago and I do not think there is anyway around this. The horn IS annoying. Since I purchased a new fob from Toyota, my alarm has become possessed and always goes off on its own, even at three am.

does ne one one whichs wires to disable or pull hate factory alarms

The horn or beep? if its the beep, it can be turned off through some ungodly complicated matter found in the vip security manual. Youll have to read and see, but i think its something like the key in the ignition and hold down the secondary fob button, and hit the primary arm button

Try pressing the lock and ulock keys on your keyless remote at the same time. The doors should unlock without the horn beeping.
