Hello again everyone. Ive been going through a bit of a problem since I took out a curb in my 95. Had tie rod, etc. replaced but I had a leaking trans since the curb incident. Well I took it in and the trans case is cracked so they're gonna rebuild it. $1300. He also showed me WHY its leaking. Subframe is the culprit. He told me he'll drop the subframe and I can go get another or "TRY" to have it straightened, I think I want to replace it though. Does ANYONE know how much a subframe will cost me? And wheres a good place to look? Im in southern Ca. btw. Thanks in advance guys I get SOOOO much good advice on this forum, dont know what i would do without you guys!!!

Well guys!!! I got the subframe from a salvage yard close by for $250 and they delivered it to the trans shop so all should be a done deal tomorrow or thurs. I just HOPE they dont screw up anything. Not really familiar w/ this shop, just a trans shop that was really close to my house. Anyway, whats the standard warranty on a rebuild cuz this guy is telling me 6 mos. and wasnt really sure on miles but he was hinting to 6,000 miles. IS THIS RIGHT??? its a $1300 job by the way
