it is christmas eve and i finally started my v6-v8 swap that i need to get done in my 1 single week off. im going with a turbo 350 tranny setup and conveniantly i found out about the torque bar. but i measured it and the tailshaft from my stock v6 200r4 bolts onto my 350 tranny so im gonna use that or am i wrong?? also my motor mounts i noticed the holes are drilled there are 4 more ahead of the v6 mounts now im gonna weld my motor mounts in cuz im not gonna take springs out. am i correct in mounting them to the forward most 4 holed mounts. i know ppl are gonna say im gonna bottom out but i think there was a previous 350 engine some of the stuff that sets that off is the high raise in the front from taller heavier springs the 3" exhaust on a v6?? and stickers that have been ripped off but left a mark of "350 edition" which is weird. why it got turned back to 2.8 i have no clue. anyways any ideas on all that stuff i said..anywas day after christmas the hei carb. v8 goes in wish me luck!!!!

how did u know about my guage pods??? anyways its a long story but i took a faze guage pod made for general caviliers and trucks cars like that, fit it into car used a crayon to mark drilled it with like 10 screws and its warped and sat in the air but i nailed it pretty close. took plastic epoxy epoxied it, then used some bondo (yes on plastic if you do it right) put enough on there in several layers to mend it right into the pillerand sanded most of it off just enough to look hot, weigh almost nothing, and keep the bondo on the surface primed and painted it, u know the rest (total time 4 hours) but its worth it. its original in that it doesnt just rest on top of the piller it looks like it was made together, the time is worth it cuz it looks hot.
