rodeo transmission noise

i have a 1993 isuzu rodeo, 4wd. i put a clutch set in it and now i have a rattle coming from underneath. it sounds like a throwout bearing. its new and doesnt look like its worn out. the plate between the flywheel and engine did not get bolted up. could that be what my rattle is or does it sound like something internal in the tranny?
