climate control dead

Can anybody offer some advice? I have a 98 528ia. I took out the Climate control panel assembly yesterday and reinstalled later. When I turned on the car it does nothing at all. I checked every fuse I could find and none are blown except the heated windshield wiper jets, but I don't think that's related. Does anyone have any ideas?
