Now I [I]know[/I] I have a problem!!

Probably like many of you here, I have long had a nagging suspicion floating around the back of my head that I have a bit of a modelling obsession. Well, having had to move house recently, and thus transport my kits, I realise I definitely have a problem!

When I moved from Aus to the UK about 18 months ago I soon realised three good/bad things:
1. hobby shops in the UK have a much bigger range of kits than those in Aus, particularly for slightly older stuff :grinyes:
2. UK Ebay is HUGE (compare to Aus) :grinno:
3. I now have easy and (relatively) cheap access to online stores, like grandprixmodels.co.uk, for aftermarket accessories. :iceslolan

So I started buying kits here and there, mainly stuff I did not think I would be able to get easily in Aus. Put them all away in a box - until I moved. Now I have to ship all these back to Aus some time in the next 12 months :rolleyes:

And I have the Hasegawa Rally Finland Focus and Tamiya Rally Japan Impreza on order from my favourite little shop in York! Add this to the already large stockpile in Aus, and I have serious issues. Good issues, but issues nonetheless!!

You think you have a problem... but not as much compared to mine... i have like 50 or so kits and I only finished 3... I can't stop buying, espcially now I found another LHS near my place... i'm an addict! :screwy:

I have the same affliction. My wife made me count how many kits I had so as to emphasise the point and it turns out to be 165 with only about 10 built. I keeping picking up a lot of rare OOP kits in toy and hobby stores in small coutry towns(Australia) - consequently the number in stock grows weekly. I don't really think I have a problem however my family might have a different view.

I just read through the whole of the above post and have to say I did not notice any problem of any kind. Just perfectly normal behaviour. :)
If you think something is wrong then Dr Raider prescribes buying more kits and supplies. Perfectly rational thing to do, heaven knows when the time comes that you need the stuff, you won't be able to find it anywhere! :D :lol: :screwy:

Hi Potsie. Merry Xmas. My wife made me count mine too after we moved house and when I got to 150 I gave up and just started to hide them - you know the thing . No dear there is none in that box or that one! That MUST be them all! I can think of at least another 30 plus I didn't count all the 1/16th and 1/12th I have on the shelf for a rainy day.
Have a Happy Modelling New Year as well. Its only 8.08 in the morning here and already 29 Degrees. Predicting 37. Sure you want to come back to that.
