Alright, the deal is, not to long ago I bought a prelude for 4,000$. Its a 5.speed, electron blue and it couldnt be any more perfect for the money I coughed up for it. The problem is, the owner before me painted it, not thinking of removing decals/stickers...and i guess painting parts of the head lights, key holes..etc would be ok too? I'm just wondering what engine I've got, and if it's vtec, Si, or just regular...? It's a 2.3 L, its pretty fast? :P Heres a couple pics...

If your sure it's a 2.3l and you are in america, it is an SI. Your pictures didn't load for me

that my friend is an SI. I say this because its got the rims and wing which most base models dont come with. the SI has a 2.3 litre engine putting out 160 hp and roughly 156 ft/lbs of torque. if you want to be 100% sure get the vin number and go to www.carfax.com it will give you an incident list of the cars history but it will also give you what trim package it is. the vtec engine has 190 hp and about 158 ft/lbs torque, you'd know if your car was a vtec because it would have leather interior and say vtec on the valve cover. good luck with it. it looks nice and i like the color too.

Now that I know my motor is a 2.3l Si...what would be some good mods to slap on it? So far I've got an AEM Cold Induction, and just a Powertech exhaust...any comments/suggestions.. I'm not a big money maker so I would prefer best for lowest..know what I'm saying...I'm willing to save though.. :)

I make about 600 2/weeks

Dont rush into the mods if your strapped for cash at the moment as latter when you get a little more cash you might get pissed of for doing the cheap ass mods in the first place.

Always start with an Air filter the sound alone is great but not some cheap bitch K&N or Rush. Then when your a little richer get the exhaust flowing 2 1/4 sytem with a fast flow cat and straight through muffler but no cheap ass muffler as this is the difference in nice to to fucking loud.

To benefit these two mods the most, in some time get a programmable power chip in Oz its called a Unichip not sure there but this can tune in from a factory 160hp to 175hp with no more than $1000 - $1500 US all up. :flash:

i would go with wheels and suspension as my next mods. i'm not a big fan of stock rims on preludes.

Right now I've just got AEM Cold Air Induction with K&N filter. I bought a new radiater (wow). But thats because I needed it..And I've got a Powertech tunable exhaust...I've been thinking about fireball cat back with DC sport 4-2-1 headers. Then I was thinking about getting the chip.

Can anyone tell me if it's possible just to add a turbo to my engine. I know HKS makes a few, but I'm not sure if I could just buy it, and put it on... Should I get a new intake manifold? What do I need to do before purchasing one?

I need input..
