Slowing down from 100 mph a few times real quick destroys a pair of stock front rotors. After buying a new set of the things I come to realize I can't get the old ones off. The car is mildly drivable still, but how do you get the front rotors off? It looks like you have to take the entire front hub off the knuckle - if thats true, I've tried everything from hammers air punches to get the hub assembly off. If the air punch doesn't loosen a thing your doing it wrong. What am I doing wrong?

i used to have a 96 accord, and this pissed me off. you do have to remove the whole hub. it's a pain in the ass to get off, and when you do, remember to replace the bearing because more than likely it was damaged in the removal. good luck

Do you have to bang on the bearing or the hub? I applied a modest amount of air punch on the four hub bolts without any reaction from the car. (Not the stock bolts of course)

This worked for me. Let me know if you're still stuck.
