Manual, mid 15's, auto mid 16's, depending on driver.
S/C manual, low to mid 14's, auto mid 14's.
This is assuming everything else is stock.

5spd: LSD or quaife, at least a stage 3 clutch, drag radials, S/C with a 3.2 or smaller pulley and CAI, Y-pipe, catback exhuast and high flow cat, NOS, and a whole lot of tuning... ;)
Auto: Custom built transmission with LSD and treated gears/custom TC.
The fastest Maxima is an auto running 12.2's right now on NOS, the next fastest is a 5spd with internals from a Vq30det running 12.5or .6 with a S/C and NOS

The Max is a heavy car, over 3000lbs, and it's built to be a family car. There is not a whole lot of aftermarket support for it, and not many people willing to dole out the cash required to make it fly... :(

Sorry, I just spend WAY too much time trying to help people with questions about the Maxima to have something I said nitpicked and patronized. I'm not taking it personal, I was just defending my earlier statement, which was taken out of context... ;)

Those lights are not custom eyelids as mtrai760 said they were. They are painted black on the part where it was origanally chrome, on the inside of the lense. Cheston has how to fabricate them in the HOW2 section of www.maximadriver.com at http://www.seas.ucla.edu/~cheston/aeheadlight.html
