Im still unsure about how the soul was lost in the first place......what are you supposed to be getting it back from? If you are a catholic then if you have sinned then you should go to confession and repent your sins. So far as i know protestants believe they are going to heaven as long as they believe fully in jesus. Im not sure if this is what you are looking for. If your looking for a little more of a non-religious opinion then i believe your soul is always with you but it is just changed based upon your actions as a person, also the soul can only be lost through death. So either your soul is always with you or you need to reincarnate yourself.

Your soul is the part of you that is eternal. You can't loose it.

well here it is back in the day if a person sneezed there sould would come out w/ the sneeze. so for this not to happen someone would have to say "bless you" immediatly after the sneeze was accomplished. as for retrieving the soul i dont know how this is accomplished. this is pointless because its just a superstition
