I just bought an 89 F 250 4x4 and was looking to buy a used set of wheels for it. I'm a little confused about which years will fit it.It looks like in 99 they changed the pattern from the wheels I've seen advertised.Any help will be much valued.I'll be posting a couple more questions in the near future and hope everyone will not grow weary of my questions.
Thanks

All right, here is what I know
In 99 they went to a metric, flat (not conical) lug nut rim.
A rim from 1985-1997 should fit if it had the 10.25 rear. Pre 85 had a Dana 60 rear, and while the rims look the same, the center hole is .125 too small. Does your truck have a hub sticking out the center of the rim? If it does, it has a 10.25 full floater rear. If not, it has the cheesy c-clip axle, in which case, the older rims would work.
