93 MX -3 Engine Help

I went to pull out the dip stick and the whole assembly came out... I can't figure out where it goes. It has a bolt on bracket attatched to it but i can't figure out where it bolts onto.... where does it go

there is a little hole below the alternator belt tensionner where it goes in. I think it would be easier to see if you take off your passenger wheel and splash guard. Then you can also bolt it on securely to the timing belt cover. It was probably just missing a bolt on the timing belt cover and it popped out.

and while you're at it get a new o-ring for the bottom of the asembly so it can seal properly..you could reuse your old one if it looks ok...like mx3man said..just insert it into the hole in the oil pan and bolt it on the timing blet cover where it should have been
