Hey folks! Bought a '03 ZTW last week and I notice that on cold mornings it idles kinda' rough for 10-15 seconds after you start it. Then, it settles into a nice smooth idle. Could this be some kind of choke problem?

Any thoughts!

Cheers and Merry Christmas!

There's no choke on an fuel injected car :)
It's probably just the car running rough as the computer tries to sort out air fuel ratios with the cold, so in a way, it's a 'choke' issue of the engine trying to run real rich, but not the traditional choke that would be on a carbeurated (sp?) engine. My car does this too when it's cold...it was -10 F the other morning, so I didn't expect much different.

Ok, so then I shouldn't push the panic button just yet? Is this some kind of problem that the computer sorts through or does it ultimately end up needing some kind of adjustment?

The computer is just trying to figure out what the best air/fuel mixture is at such a low temperature...that plus the fact that it's cold, and the engine hasn't been run in a while, it's bound to make some noises and shake a little bit as everything settles into place. Unless the shaking and noise don't disappear after startup, I wouldn't worry much about it.
