98 Malibu-Engine just Shuts-off

Hello,

My wifes 98 Malibu (V6) stopped running on her on the way home from work yesterday. She said it was running fine and just stopped (like someone had turned the key off). It would re-start and run fine until she stepped on the brakes, then it would die again. The car set in the garage all day and seams to run fine now.

In the past we have had the engine shut off while going through the automatic car wash. I'm thinking this might be an electrical problem.

Any ideas?
