ok i may get bitched at but i just wanted to share the thought.
Has anyone ever noticed How little of the back of your own car uve seen, like your own brakelights if they ever work or come on. Of course we All are guilty at sometime of letting a friend drive our cars and riding shotgun even if involuntary(drunk) but man has anyone ever noticed how weird it is to see your own car being drivin around by someone else or to see it from another car?

My best friend has a hardtop GST and I decided to let him drive my car one day. He is in love with my car and I just had a bunch of mods installed and wanted to know how far away you could hear the BOV (I know it's a little riceish). The car looked so good going down the road!!!!!!!

I have this little Sony digital camera which can take small shots and make 30 second segments of video...i let my friend drive my car, while i "filmed"...the BOV sounded awesome as a bystander (louder than when your driving), and i got a good bit on video. sigh..the little thrills of life.

My brother used to take my car once in a while just to go for a short 3-4 minute drive down my street and back. I could hear that POS coming a quarter mile before it was in sight. He would always come around the corner full throttle in third, 3" exhaust screaming, external WG wide open, 56 trim whining at 25 psi, then get on the brakes hard and down shift through the gears so he wouldn't overshoot the driveway. What an awesome sight/sound that was. I miss those days :D It's no wonder I got pulled over in that car every once in a while, the thing sounds like a monster. Doesnt seem the same when I'm driving it, since I'm so used to the car, and it was upgraded so gradually (4-5 years). But when someone else is driving its more apparent.
Oh yeah, last year Chad made a run in my car at the track, and I watched from the stands. What a trip that was. The car goes like hell from that angle (always feels "slow" driving it). He didn't launch the car, but since it was running 118ish mph, he ran down the other (redneck) car at mid track in spectacular fashion. Getting to hear the crowds reaction/comments was interesting...
After recalling these fond memories, I'm tempted to go out and put that POS back together now... LMAO :D
