98 Rodeo DLC location?

I give up, I can't find the DLC location under the driver's side. I see two pgitail connectors, one grey and one blue, but they don't look like the DLC connector on the scanner.
The CEL comes on after ~1 second delay after clearing the codes but disconnecting the battery, and then stays on. The engine fires, on ~2-3 cylinders, with the gas pedal fully depressed, but only with the continuous use of the starter.
Rode the motorcycle over to AutoZone and borrowed their code scanner, but now I can't find out where to plug it in.
Help would certainly be appreciated!
Thanks in advance...
Charlie

Ok- found it - it was so obvious I overlooked it :(
It reports 'Passed - No codes reported.'
One other thing - the ABS light comes on and remains on while the starter is cranking, but not when the key is just on. Never noticed what the ABS light does normally....
Anybody have a suggestion as to how to proceed next?
Thanks,
Charlie

yank the ABS fuse.
If it is still running ruff, you might want to pour some stuff in the gas that locks up water.
Next I would change the fuel filter.
After that check that your batter connections are good and clean (check the ground points).
After that my only guess is the Intake manafold gasket.
good luck!

It ran fine into the garage last night. Now it doesn't start/fire at all.
Yanking the ABS fuse does nothing except keep the ABS light all the time..
I know the battery connections are good, it cranks easily, and there is a hot spark at the plug.
I have my doubts about the OBD Scanner reporting correctly - I unplugged the MAF sensor, and also the TPS sensor, and the scanner still reported 'Passed - No codes reported.'
What can I unplug that is certain to generate a DTC?
Thanks,
Charlie

Unplug the egr.
Yanking the ABS fuse, will stop the abs pump from running and burning out.
If you have spark and the engine is turning, sounds like there is a problem with the gas (water in the gas, no gas, plugged fuel filter and so on).

Unplugging the EGR didn't cause an error code, nor did unplugging #1 plug coil nor unplugging the MAP sensor (or what I think is the MAP sensor - the only connector directly on the intake manifold).
There is some pressure in the fuel rail when I depress the Schrader valve there. I think 'bad gas/no gas' is too simple a solution (no offense) given all the things the ECM does with the MAP, MAF, TPS, etc.
What kind of pressure should be in the fuel rail? Maybe the pressure regulator has gone bad. There was just a 'dribble' out the schrader valve.
Tried spraying starting fluid into the intake manifold (difficult, no easy access) through the PCV connection on the manifold and it didn't fire off either.

Was able to get out on the motorcycle today and get a compression tester.
Here are the results:
Right Bank Compression - 100 - 110 - 105
Left Bank Compression - 140 - 125 - 170
Looks like the right bank timing belt sprocket mighta jumped, but I dunno what the left bank tells me..........
Anybody have a procedure for changing (adjusting) timing belt?
