I Have A 1996 Regal Custom---while At Idle The Car Seems Like It Wanna Go Dead---the Tach Just Bounces Up And Down Between 0--1000 Rpms All The Time.the Car Will Not Go Dead But, I Put My Feet On The Gas At Traffic Lights. I Have Put On New Wires And Plugs.still The Same Problem.there Are No Lights On Besides The Secerity And Low Coolant Light.

WHERE IS THE IAC VALVE LOCATED?

On the throttle body. Get a Haynes or Chiltons book at any parts store. It will have photos and instructions. Most stores will let you look at the books if you do not want to buy one. You can also see a photo of one on many websites such as: www.autozone.com
