Changing TPS sensor

Hi everyone, my TPS sensor is not working (stuck at 3.66v no matter what rpm the car is at). I was wondering if anyone had any experience with changing them out. Before I go commando and tear the thing apart I'd like to know what I am getting into. It's an 88 4bbl car. Thanks in advance!

It's an easy 5 minute job on a TBI car. I have no idea on the carb car though...
