I believe he is making molds of the fender flares from one model to use on a different one. BUT it looks like a nasty mixture of certain body fluids and solids.... hehe

I believe he is using resin or rubber in order to copy the profile over the wheel arches for his scratchbuilt fender flares so they will fit snug. Or possibly carved the pieces from each solid block of resin. Have employed a similar technique for something in the past.
