I couldn't find the removal procedure for the 2 door 95. Closest I could find was for the 2000 2door. GM's descriptions are a little lame though.

Trim Panel Replacement - Body Side 2-Door Utility
Removal Procedure

Remove the upper and lower front seat anchor bolts.
Remove the rear seat belt lower anchor nut.
Remove the assist handle.
Remove the coat hook.
Remove the endgate or the liftgate opening door sill trim plate.
Fold the rear seats down.
Remove the jack storage cover (left side only).
Remove the screw that retains the upper body side trim body side trim panel to the vehicle (left side only).
Remove the upper body side trim panel from the vehicle.
Feed the seat belt through the trim panel.
Remove the body side front lower trim panel from the vehicle

This is known to be a nightmare for stereo systems installers.

They hate 2wd blazers because of this reason.

I suggest cutting the area open and removing the stock grill and using the grill assembly that comes with the speaker to cover the hole.

sounds like more work to me. i'll see if i can't talk to a body guy to tell me how to do it. i might just stress the panel and use a ratchet to pull the bolts out. thats how i did the front doors.i never could get the panel all of the way off so i just stressed it and got it to work.

No it is NOT more work to leave the panel in place and cut a while around the existing speaker and use the speaker grill that comes with the speaker to cover the whole once the speaker is installed.

Why do you think a body shop would know about interior work?

because the've most likely have replaced it or pulled it off to fix it from being dented. i'll play with it so and see if i can't pull it off.
