In UK's best selling car tuning mag called Redline. While flicking through the tuner mags while the girlfriend was card shopping I noticed he’s Varis evo on the contents page, I then flick through to a 3 page article on he’s models which is more then most real cars get LOL.

Well done :)

Will try and get a scan later

Pick it up first thing :smokin:
Also Chris (SAS) has quite a few cars featured and a nice weblink.
I asked them to meantion AF but they didn't, also It could be read as all models are mine and not some of Chris's which is a shame. :banghead:

I'll try to get a PDF version at higher res.

Steve,

Forget asking them to mention AF you should have asked them do your models get photographed with some piece of totty. She could have put one of them on her.....ahem!! never mind!!!!

Picked up my copy a little earlier. Is a little disapointing that they don't actually mention which models are mine, especially when I spent the weekend taking new pics just for them:rolleyes: But its a good spread though.

Hey, a magazine feature, thats awesome

its a bit sad they didn't show more of the r32, especially the engine which is fabulous

you would be worth an entire magazine's pages to show the world all the wonderful work you've done in all your models ! lol

Man.

Not to sound too much like a :newbie:, but Hiro's shit is just crazy. Terminally ILL, as it were.

I think a spread like this would be good in Scale Auto - have you considered submitting anything, Steve?

So, wow. Jeez. Steve gets his models in a car mag. Most of us are plenty impressed by pics in a model car mag. :dunno:

First you fool Fujimi with their own kit. Next you get it published in a 1:1 tuner mag...

What's next, Steve? If I hear that thing sets a lap record at Silverstone, I may just lose it!

;)

Top work to both of you! You should see if igor wants to sponsor the cars, so you can sneak the URL in... ;)

Congrats guys... thats impressive and im proud to get to corrispond with you guys on a regular basis. it makes me feel important  i think this is a big deal cus its a 1:1 mag and could result in a trend of new modellers which means more money for the manufacturers to put out so new kits!!!! and its a big eye opener for my girlfriend that this modelling stuff is legitimate and reconized by the public. not just this "silly" forum. you boys have done me proud! AF modelling should publish an annual magazine to showcase the years best work. i would certainly invest and maybe one of the model mags would help with distribution... what do you think???? i think we could get plenty of advertising... just a thought. PM me if you think this is a good idea im looking to start a small business and this would be fun and i think this forum could put together a much better mag then Model Cars no offense.

Congrats, Steve!

They contacted me too but I didn't submit anything, didn't know anything about that magazine at all, have never seen it here in the States.

Hi Veyron,

my name is Dan Goodyer, and I'm contacting you from Redline magazine in the UK. Your profile doesn't state whereabouts you are from, so if you haven't seen a copy of the mag, we feature modified road cars and visit all the biggest shows in the UK and across Europe. Two of our guys have literally just got back from SEMA.

Anyway, I'm putting together a 3-page feature in the mag about modified model cars, and would love to include some details on your Porsche Carrera GT project with the Ferrari Modena roof. It's an AMAZING piece of design and application, and I applaud you for it. :smokin:

Basically, if you'd like to help out, could you e-mail me pics of the project throughout the build (is it complete?). I have contacted a small number of you from the automotive forums (Hiroboy, Camber, etc.) and would love to have a sleeciton of really top-quality models that have been put together to a high standard with INDIVIDUAL modifications. Hence your Porsche project is ideal.

If you can help me in any way - providing details of where to purchase wheels, and tips for new starters and any pics of past or present projects you think would be suitable, that would be fantastic. My deadline for this piece is the early part of next week.

Many thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards,

Dan

I know he want to contact you, but I figured you were not to interested as you didn't reply.
He may have also contacted Kunta? I did sugest it to him, but not sure if he did.
