I just read about a way to take the e-locker which only works in 4x4 low and make it so it can engage in 4x4 low, high or even 2x4. It deals with snipping a wire and grounding the same wire, apparently confuses the ecu for the locker. Anybody aware of this and is it a good thing or will it kill my tranny? Old minds want to know. Thanks!!

Leave it so it only can be activated in low. If you need traction that bad that you have to engage it, then you shouldn't be driving fast anyway.

Hey Brian,
Thanks for the feed back, my only thought was that living in New York, the rear end gets free real quick with the lightest amount of snow, I thought that both wheels turning might eliminate that and give me better traction. I also need to put a couple hundred pounds of sand bags in the back over the wheels, that should help.

If you stay on snow, then there is no problem. Dry streets are not a good idea.
