I had NO air coming into the cab of the car, but the blower motor was running strong.

The problem was at the evaporator core. The front of the evaporator core can get clogged with dirt (it will look like a black mesh)listed below is how to clean it.

The first thing is to remove the relay bank on the fire wall then remove the blower motor controller. Look through the hole from the blower motor controller to the passanger side and you will see the evaporator core.

Buy some degreeser and put it into a spray bottle and coat the evaporator core well, wait about 10 mins. and spray off with a gardon hose. NOTE: DO NOT USE A POWER WASHER, repeat a nessary, the core will come out looking silver and shinny

if you need pics I have them just e-mail me

if this has helped you please reply to this

OK this totally confirms the option I had offered in my reply to "bonneville heater problem". Glad someone finally got it done. I like the degreaser idea too. YOu known there are dozen that came with same problem in that forum and other GM cars forums that I browse through. I did not have the problem myself so I would talk based on probabilities and logical explanations only, but you finally proved the point before all.
Fun learning the solutions that work. I will make links to your post for others that talk of the same problem.
I'd like to have the pics at [email protected]
Thanks
