Quadra Trac II questions

Now that I'm experiencing the Quadra Trac II in the winter, I am surprised at how quickly it senses slippage and engages the front tires, but now I'm left with the question. When does it disengage the front tires? Is it as soon as it gets traction? Do you have to let up on the gas in a situation when the vehicle has traction before it will disengage the fronts?

Initially I would think that the system would not disengage the fronts as soon as even traction is established, or it could be engaging quite a lot.

well I am not positive but I think it disengages after coming to a stop. like I said I am not positive.
