My 2000 LS will be 5 years old this January '05. It is by far the best car I have owned. This is my first major problem with the car, and by the way, I have driven it over 104K miles. My LS failed to start for the first time just this past weekend. I had just got off the highway, stopped, and then got back in after 30 minutes. All it would do is crank over and over, never starting. Diagnostics indicate all fuel componants are working properly. Reading an earlier Thread mentioned a TSB which required a reflash of the PCM, IIRC. Any ideas?

is it still in a no crank condition or was this a momentary problem?

try replacing the IAC sensor, had same problem, dealership changed sensor and all is well now.about a 40.00 part unless still under warrenty.the sensor sets in about the front center part of motor,a little silver cylinder attached to the left side of the air intake hose.

It's NOT the IAC. The Idle Air Control is what allows the car to idle evenly. The car will still start just fine but will stall or have a uneven idle if the IAC is bad. If you have fuel then it's an electrical problem. Maybe the crankshaft position sensor?

One of your injectors is staying locked open after hot shutdown and flooding the system. See which cylinders have a misfire and thats probably your one.

This happend to me about a month ago, after getting off the highway I went to 7-11 to get a drink and my car wouldn't start. It would turn over fine but not start. I figured it to be my fuel pump, because it didn't seem my car was getting gas. Turns out it was just the fuel pump fuse, so it only cost $5 to fix.

I thought you may have seen a few threads down where my wifes had this same problem. The dealer replaced the battery and it fixed it.
Yea, I know, it was turning the starter like there was no problems.
Something to do with the voltage is to low. Same problems with the new T-Birds.
