Hey guys. Gotta question for you DSM freaks. How much do you guys pay for insurance? Particularly a 97-99 Eclipse GSX. And I'm on the high end of most insurance. I pay almost $1000/six months for my daily driven 95 integra ls. Yea that sucks. So let me know some numbers and from who you get your coverage from. Thanks for any information guys.

$1300/6 months for full coverage. You should probably buy a moped because you might be looking at $3000 a year if you are already that high.

here's an idea, call your insurence company say you are looking at an eclipse. get a vin number off auto trader for one thats up for sale. and have them run the numbers. NO one can say what you will pay. it all depends on how much the car is worth, you age, your record.
i can tell you my insurence company doesn't care if its a turbo or not, or if its red for that matter.

I have Geico, and I'm doing 1200/year. I'm 17, but I have good grades, and Geico gives discounts if you have like a "B" average or higher

I have a 99 Spyder and its RED of all colors. Here in Jersey I pay almost 2700 a year and I am 23 and no points whatsoever. Jersey Insurance is ridiculous.

Oh I forgot to mention with my 95 rs I pay 75 a month for liability. My Spyder GST has full coverage.
