should i turbo charge my ka24 or get the full sr20 kit?

read through this forum for threads on sr20 vs ka-t. there's a million of them. JUST DON'T REVIVE A THREAD MORE THAN A COUPLE OF WEEKS OLD. read through them and learn the pros and cons of both then you'll know more about what you're planning on doing. and learn more about your car.. the 89-90 models had single overhead cams and the 91-93 had dual overhead cams. anyhoo, you have lots of reading to do. it takes time but its interesting too..

As for your rather stupid question, yes. An RB26DETT can, and has, been transplanted into 240Sx's. PS, there is no difference between the NUR and the GTR. It is just horse power numbers. But with an intake and exhaust, and maybe a boost controller, you could run it easy.

There is a rather large difference. The NUR spec motor is blueprinted and balanced (N1 block), has a few more tickles here and there ;)

Blueprinting simply rebuilds an engine by hand to specifications as close to the original factory design as possible.

Allows for a lot more potential, and better running motor.

Actually, the guys who buy NUR specs are not really looking to upgrade. they just want something fast and fun. the normal RB26 can be tuned, and has been tuned, to over 1600HP at the crank. Other examples are 1350, 100, 934, 760, 844 and so forth. these are only ones I have read of, but the 1600 hp veilside monster is real.
