I got stuck in the mud last night. While I was off calling a tow truck, my boneheaded friends decided to try to get me out on their own. They opened both doors and pushed there while someone else redlined it in reverse. As if that wasn't bad enough, mud splattered ALL OVER the inside of both doors, AND they almost wrecked the damn car. Anyways, whats the best way to clean it off?

Carpet Extractor, DIY carwashes or detail shops have the right equipment.
I'm sorry but that funny seeing I did almost the same thing when I first got my Camaro. Got stuck in the snow, opened my door to see, & nailed it in reverse. Damn thing spattered me in the face, lol. Live & learn.

Blue Magic Carpet Stain and Spot Lifter, best carpet cleaner I've ever used. You can get it at Autozone.

I havent seen blue magic carpet shampoo in years and its a shame that was a pretty decent product that saved me alot of cash over the years. Im not sure if its the same product as Hdcgamer but it reminded me of it. We dont have a auto zone here :( well that I know of. Edmonton Canada.

That's good because Auto Zone is just as worthless as Pep Boys.

The stuff I get comes in a spray can, it does a great job of lifting stains. I can go through a whole can of it pretty quick, lol. Has a strong alcohol scent to it.

Oh I thought it was a gel based extractor shampoo , I could buy a bucket of this blue carpet extractor gel for 100 bucks and it lasted for years. Only thing is I hate extractors so I add a pop bottle cap full to a bucket of hot water an old wash mitt for extracting shampoo and a scrub brush and waaaallllaaa I got enough shampoo to shampoo a entire car by hand and a wall mounted rayovac wet/dry vac to suck it all up. Then I put a 1/2 hp floor drying fan inside the car and in an hour the carpets are dry. I make thousands of dollars a week with this simple setup with just the shampoos. I got kind of used to using what is known to do the job right every time , I call it the lazy way I call it "Elbow Grease" , this magic grease can clean anything. Dont get me wrong I used several ninjas and a dewalt extractor and the only two things I dont like about them is , they break down or malfunction every once in awhile or more often than you want , they cost 5 times more than my wall mount and the repairs themselves cost more than my wall mount.

You never wet mud (or dried mud) with cleaning agents, this only makes more mud.
You allow the mud to dry, use a stiff brush to break loose the dirt, vacuum VERY well, brushing again, vacuuming again, and when the majority of the mud is vacuumed then you can use a cleaning agent.
An extractor is the best job for this. It delivers a high pressure stream of water deep into the carpet fibers and then extracts it out right away.
