How cool is our 50

just thought id share how cool officer R. White is of the Columbus PD for giving me a warning on a 51 in a 35, 16 over.... what a good man. Can anyone top it, or worse got ticketed for like 1 over???

I can top it completely...on the way home from school me and my friend got pulled over for street racing (we were just fucking around really) and going 50 over no lie. The cop said he didn't want us to lose our licenses and said he was going to call our parents...he never did...I love that guy.

Going shooting in the Angeles Crest mountains - car was loaded with guns and ammo - got busted with 1/8 oz. bag of pot - the cop dumped the bag into some bushes and let me and my friend go (after he ran a check on every gun in the car).

75 in a 45... cop didnt even take my info, he just looked at my badge (on my way to work) and said "late for work??" of course i responded with yes and all he said was "ok, just be safe..." and walked back to his car and took off.

Redlining 1st and chriping the shit out of 2nd with an open bottle of yager in the car and me under 21 in a 25 mph zone. No I hadn't had a drop to drink was just heading to a party to get cocked. Didn't even see the cop in the middle of traffic heading the other way. He did some crazy 180 turn and came after me. He searched the car.

Ended up dumping the bottle in the grass and giving me a $40 ticket for "disobeying a CT traffic sign". I love that guy.

This was pre-nitrous, wonder what would happen if he opened the trunk to find 2 10 Ibs bottles chilling there. I'm a lot more careful now.

120 in a 55....lol it was on a straight stretch on a road right next to a highway, cop was on the highway and had no way to catch me lol....it was funny..

16 over and a warning caues he was behind me and i sped up outta no where *i was drinking a coke forgot to shift lol* explained it to him showed him coke was nice he said no prob just be careful i said see how bad drinking and driving is he laughed and said better not do that I told him i won't he let me go.

I was on the highway where they had just finished up some road work. State trooper was in the right lane doing 45 (hw limit is 55). Everybody else was pussying along behind and along side the trooper. I decided I wasn't gonna be punked by some slow movin cop, so I hit 55 and went on ahead. Not a good idea. :nono: Especially with my luck.

Not only did I get pulled over (which freed the road for the rest of the chumps that were too scared to pass before), I got a ticket for speeding in a construction zone (apparently there need not be workers, work to be done, or equipment to be a work zone). I said I didn't know it was a construction zone, she said there was a sign (a couple miles back) and cones out. The cones weren't even in the way, just lined along the cement divider on the left.

Oh, and I got a seat belt violation. :rolleyes:

i was a pasenger in my friends car on our way for spring break. it was easter morning, about 4;:00 AM when he got pulled over doing 85 in 55. it was even a construction zone (fine are doubled in ohio). he gave him a warning and that was all.

My friend got pulled over for 103 in a 50.. warning.

my buddy got pulled over for cutting an undercover cop off at 90 in a 40. got a 2 hour lecture but no ticket. we also pegged the speedometer for like 10 seconds while still at full throttle in a 55, this venture was smoking an sti. this was in a 2002 supercharged mustang gt, the peg is at like 155, you think about that. anyway passed by a camaro cop car and kept goin, neither stood a chance

i hate you guys, i got a 250 dollar ticket for going 62 in a 35. That seems like too much for less than 30 miles over but then again that was my first ticket. Gay gay gay ass motorcycle cop. but hopefully my lawyer can wisk it all away for 50 bucks.

i have a very extreme case for both sides of the arguement- when i bought my first del sol, i was in the slow lane on the freeway going 60 in a 65 and i got a 'speeding ticket'!! i was pissed. i know that my speedo was not off, i mean i was getting sped past by minivans, i was in the slow lane to pull off the freeway how could i be speeding... (rhetorical question) so i actually got a speeding ticket and a point on my drivers license, which led to my license ending up getting suspended (and it still is, *$#%)

i drove 120 straight into the DRIVERS side of a BMW during a street race and came within inches of killing the driver, completely totalled both cars. the guy was still unconscious when the cops got there. if you look through the pics of my blue del sol on my signature youll see that it actually ripped my tranny mounts right out and my motor was laying on the ground. the cops didnt even write me a ticket, it was damn obvious from the physical damage that i was flying at 120 instead of the posted 35. my friends got it al l on video. not even a ticket or anything, nice cops and chp.

well the amount of the fine was not determined until i went before the judge and he took my whole driving history into consideration so i got the max.

speeding tickets in san diego start 1t 110 and end up around 350 and mine was like 290 just fot that. i forgot to mention that at the time i had all the little greddy, skunk2, mugen decals and stuff underneath my side view mirrors and the mud like 6 foot long decal along the side of the car like in the fast in the furious (boooO!)

I was driving my friends 91 supra turbo through oklahoma once and wanted to see what it could do. I got it up to about 145 then my radar started goin crazy so I had to take it down. And sure enough there was a cop taking radar right over the hill. I still wanted to get this thing to go faster, I mean I still had another 3000 rpm to pull out of it. I had fun. But I did get caught in texas right outside of dallas when the speed limit changed from 75 to 60 and I was unaware, so I was doing 78 in a 60. The ticket was $125 for 10mph over plus an additional $10 for every mph over 10. It ended up being a $250 ticket after court costs and all that shit.

A buddy of mine was racing one of his friends from out of state on this deserted strip of road in town. The road is two lanes, but wide enough for four lanes. They were racing and supposedly were going just over 115 mph. (They were racing a 94 Grand Prix GTP and an 89 IROC 305tbi Camaro) Then a cop pulled on the road behind them and flashed his lights. The Camaro pulled over and the GTP took off. The cop told my friend in the Camaro to "drive safer and never do that again." Then the cop chased the GTP, but didn't catch him.

I was crusin at 85 alittle behind a guy doing i guess about 90. Anyway I get pulled over for speeding, and I make the smart ass comment"that other guy was going faster than I was." come on now you have to say that that cop and his choice in a warning is a 1 in 10 quadtrillion billions... ie never going to happen. its way way to hard to believe.

We were comin home from school, I was behind him (he had a 93 civic dx, I have a 95 ex). It's a long road with only one stoplight that goes from 40 to 50 limit, we were doin about 50 and got a green at the light (where the limit changes) and then went to WOT.

Got up to about 95 when my detector went off (there's a small parking lot for a wildlife park a ways down the road). I slowed down to about 60-65, my friend kept goin and the cop nabbed him.

He showed me the warning slip later on.

It was incredible luck, you're correct. Our town is small though and the cops know everyone (especially this kid, he has a little problem with speed limits), so that was probably part of it.

My friend was pulling out onto a busy street, where everyone used to race their cars on the weekends. So he pulls out, cause he didn't see anyone coming. Next thing he knows an undercover cop on a motorcycle whips around the corner slams on his brakes and goes head first into my friends car. There was a huge head imprint in his rear fender, and the cops helmet was cracked right in half. The cop was in a coma for a few weeks, and they tried to sue my friend. They wouldn't even give my friend the cops insurance information, because he was an undercover cop and didn't want my friend going to his house and killing him. So my friend almost "kills" a cop and was only stuck with lawyer fees. but it's now 3 years later, and my friend never paid the lawyer in full to take car of it, so he just lost his license because of it.

But I've personally never had a good experience with a cop. Got 1 ticket for speeding (79 in a 65) but was reduced to a non-moving violation. And got pulled over in my riced out Oldsmobile once because I had a "neon" license plate; but I just got a warning after sitting there for 40 minutes. Damn was I pissed off that night, we just smoked a bowl probably 10 minutes earlier so I was shitting a brick when I saw the cop parked in a parking lot.

Oh and F*** cops.

yea I killed a guy once. He was a cop. No one liked him at the police station so they were happy and hired me. Now I can kill in my cop car.

Funny, like 2 years ago my friend and I were coming home on a saturday night (sunday morning technically). Well earlier that night end part of his exhaust fell off and we were at least 20 miles from civiliaztion at 11PM with nothing open. So what did we do? A quick shoe lace later and we were off to the races. About 2 AM comes around and we start heading home. As were cruising in his gutted out, primed out, shoelace exhaust held car on the way, some girl riding passenger in some civic coupe, flips us off and speeds off. So we speed up to 100 to catch up to her and afterwards she explained she thought we were someone else and we sped off. As we turn down the street to my house we notice some red and blue lights. Well we pull over get all the info needed and she comes up. She asks why we think she pulled us over and explains we were speeding and she thought we were racing the other car and my friend simply astoundes me with this one "I just wanted to get home because my exhaust fell off and I didn't want it to blow up. As it turns out she clocked us at 85 (i think) in a 50. 20 minutes later we're at home dumbfounded as to why he hadn't just gotten pulled over... No BS, thats from what I remember 2 years ago.

First time:
I got pulled over on highway 6 going back to college, highway 6 is the 3 dangerous highway in the nation, i had just done a 100mph then slowed for a car and then i passed the slow car on a corner, illegally....and then 2 seconds later a cop came around the next corner and pulled me over, 15 over....let me off....all because i was late for work.

Second Time:
I'm going to the local car hangout because we had seen all these high school kids acting all tough, so i went home to get my car, because we were in my friends car, went to show these pussy's up and got pulled over, 16 over...let me off

I wish the 50 that got me doing 67 in a 40 last night was that cool :( but I guess its a good thing he didn't write it as 80... which was what I was doing when he clocked me....

I got a dirty dirty ticket for going 36 in a 25... so mad i went out and bought a radar detector. Later got pulled over going 70 in a 50 work zone (with my radar detector on, didnt even pick it up) only got a warning for that one though cuz it would have been a 400 dollar ticket. that cop was cool.

do any of u know about the quota or w/e that cops have to do they have to get like so many tickets or w/e so they are pulling ppl over for nothing...it may be a lie im not sure but it happend to one of my friends

I was driving my friend Arostar, yes a mini van, with my bro, and two friends. I went down this dirt park and went through some stop sign (it was night) flipped a 180 and went peeling out the other way. Cop was sitting in the dark and watch the whole thing. Pulled me over, listed all the shit that i did, adding that the car wasnt insured (didnt even know) and a busted tail light. It was a 7 point violation in total, and he let me go with a warning. Commented on how he had a son around my age and knows how they just like to fuck around, just said dont do it again.

In my RX7 at the time I had it, I was late for watch on anderws AFB and I was really in a hurry, and I didnt want to get written up. I had the midnight to 8AM watch and it was 11:45, I was suppose to be there at 11:30. So Im driving down the road that leads to the navy side, thinking there wouldnt be anyone so im going a good 85 in a 55, a cop was sitting right there, no lights or anything as I literally blew by him, I slowed down and I thought I seen him turn his lights on so I pulled over, I wasnt even about to get chased through base, but the strange thing is, his car never moved as I sat there waiting.
So Im thinking, okay, keep going and probally get thrown in the brig, or go back and jsut take whats comming, because I was just turning my E3 and I didnt want to lose it, so I drive back, pull up on the other side of the road and look to the MP as he rolls down his window. I just said.

"Sorry I was oging fast, Im jsut late for watch and all." The MP just looked at me a moment and nodded saying.
"Just slow it down a little and get to your watch Airmen." I got back in my car and nearly had a heart attack. Speeding like that on base, is like, bye bye car and driving privlages.

Lucky for me the one I was relieveing was cool with it as I explained the story, i got there about at midnight. what a night.

I was just about to floor it to pass this angelic-5-mph-below-the-limit person infront, when this cop overtakes ME. In a STINGRAY CORVETTE. With the lights, and the badges, and the color scheme, and all. On the side, I caught a glimpse of, in bold "This car has been confiscated from a drug smuggler for San Diego police dept. use". Was I drunk, or did I actually see a classic muscle car as a cop car? Cops are bad enough. Cops in a CORVETTE ... oh boy. :(

one time like two months ago i was with my dad and his friend was driving. Anyway my dads friend has more moeny than sesne and drives an s55 (on the waiting list for cl65) but anyway we were just crusing along talking and that car rides smooth so i didnt notice the speed but all of a sudden he fricking burys the gas just to show us waht it can do. at about 135 he starts to slow off then all of a sudden he burys a different pedal...the brake i thought i was gonna fly threw the windshield. I look back and of course its an Indiana state trooper. The cop comes up and goes i thought you were gonna bury the front of that car into the road. And then the license and registration deal then the cop asks how fast he was going my dads friend so i dunno and he goes well after you braked i got you go 113. The worst part was it was on the toll road but apparntley it was a construction zone(a few cones lying around) so the speed limit was 45 and fines are doubled in indiana. so to sum it up 68 in fines doubled. He got his license suspended for a month so his wife had to drive him around. ha.

ive got a few stories.

1st. Im driving home in ym old Mitsubishi Mirage LS with my friend and the girl i wanted to go out with at the time (shes a huge flirt and she was sitting in his lap in the passenger side, none of us had seatbelts.) Suddenly, the girl decides she wants me to whip a 360 in the gravel parking lot of the nearby park. This is now at like 12:34 AM, way past the parks close, which i didnt know it did at the time. I go in, and hit about 45 in this parking lot, then whip the E-Brake and do about a 230. I had JUST finished shipping it, when a ranger pulls around the corner, spies the dust in the lot, and ym car sitting there covered. He flipped ont he lights and being the prick he was, he had his high beams on right in ym face, so i couldnt see anything.

He walked over and looked in the window at me, first glanced at my fuzzbuster, which at this point was still beeping in low mode cause id forgotten it was there after gouging my eyes out from the light. He then looks over at my friend and this girl sitting in the passenger seat with no seat belt, then looks back at the dust rising from behind my car. He comments that riding like that isnt safe, to the passengers. Then he asks me what we are doing besides trespassing and whipping shitties after hours. I said we were just on our way home to get some sleep and decided to try out something id seen on TV. I told him it didnt work. He didnt crack a smile, then asked for my info. I gave it to him, and he went back to his truck. meanwhile, the chick is scrambling into the backseat and we all buckled up ;) He comes back, hands me my info cards, and looks in the back seat, and spies a red jacket we had stowed back there. He asked uys what was in the red bag, and we said, thats a jacket officer... He asked us what we would do once he let us go, and i smartly said go straight home and go too bed. He let me off with a warning.

I was so lucky... he seemed in the busting mood that night.







Story 2: Flying down a road after a nice snow, i was doing (stupidly now, and slightly inebriated) about 115 in a 65. Cop goin the other way ont he highway apparently noticed that i was going fast.... and tried to jump the middle grass, well as he started to turn, his car lost control and spun out in this icy road, and i got away...thank god.





Now, for anyone who got al the way through these stories, there is a tip to NOT get a point on your liscense from a ticket.

When you get the ticket, lets say the ticket is for $78, send a check for $84. The state will send you back a $6 check. DO NOT CASH IT. Throw it away. State gets its money, and since you did not cash the check, the transaction is not complete, and they cant file it. State wont say anything since they got their money, and u have no point on your license.

This worked for a friend of mine, i wouldnt know from experience, since ive never gotten a ticket, thought i should have like 3 reckless driving, 2 speeding tickets. Not sure how i got out of the reckless driving that ended up totaling previously mentioned mirage. I slid into a pole on a gravel road, cause i was doing 65 on it.

mine was going 140 down the I5 in cali 65 mph speed limit, but I was up bast the grape vine ( nothing around there ) any ways I guess I blew by a cop but he didnt have a chance to catch up. called in another cop to catch me further down the freeway, next stop was mine so i got off to see a cop car waiting for me, turns out the first cop didnt have his radar dector up in time or was being nice so they clocked me at 90 mph. btw me and my 3 friends in the car where kinda stoned and had some on us, cop was talking to me for 2 hours made us dump what he found ( about half the weed and 3 out of 4 pipes, for some reason he never searched me ) and gave me a ticket for weed, speeding 90 mph and tinted windows ( stock tint also ??? ) and also let me drive away. to finnish up story, i go to the court which was in the middle of nowhere and I am dressed up in my suit. I get there and everone else is wearing plaid shirts, overalls, ect... one point for me. the judge starts calling cases, every dang one was falure to show at court or evading arrest or warrent issues. two points for me. any ways my turn comes up and and they ask if I can pay just the speeding ticket right now, I say yes I have the cash on me ( 240-280 dont rember was a few years back ) and the judge drops all charges but the speeding ticket, was dang great I still have the court papers some where where it gives the reason for droping the charges as " to further the cause of justice" omg I love that paper. going to show it to my kids / grand kids when I get some.

ya well this was about 5-6 years ago also, and really thinking back about it wasnt the smartest idea, however the road was totaly empty, stright, and the car was in exclent condition and it was a resanabley short burst, but still bad idea now that i look back. used to drive a lot stoned but normaly had my 83 vw bug or a beater 92 accord ( no need / want to speed like that in thoes cars) but the combo of being high and in a fast car got the better of me, I dont do drugs any more, hell dont even speed much any more ... well take that back i do speed but not in that class, but havent raced anyone in like 3-4 years, might pick up the racing thing again tho cause i live in japan now and finaly got a sweet car and a lot of people here who would be fun to race with




any way not an idiot, just doing something stupid, I have never driven drunk, ( not saying that high is much better but when i get drunk I can realllly tell i have no cordination, high i am more relaxed and and not nearly uncordinated as when drunk) also most of the people i know who drink have criven drunk one time or another

and I know most of the people on this board have done something stupid at least once also seeing as how it is a street racing board, which racing on the street aint the best idea in the first place

I know a kid that got pulled over for speeding, I don't remember how much, but the cop had every intention to write him a ticket and the cop was radioed that he was close to a homicide and the guy took off without giving any tickets.

personally my best story is speeding past a yellow that was prolly turning red on me and most probablly illegal, and about 5 seconds later I see lights and a cop coming behind me. So I pullover and he flies by me. about a minute down the road I saw an abulance headed to the same place, it must've really sucked for somebody, but it probablly saved me a ticket

Orange County Area? well i do. on the PCH (Pacific Coast Highway...for those that dont know :D ) I got pulled over on McArthur AVE and PCH for going 120 on a 35...i was scared that my license was going to be taken away. anyways cop comes up to the window...im pissed and hitting my stering wheel (didnt see him there...haha) he finally taps, i stop hitting my wheel and says...know why i pulled you over? (uh....driving while mexican?) well i said going 120 on a 35 right? he said yep. got license and insurance papers went to check them. my girlfriend was with me btw and said to me "youre an idiot."

He comes back.

says: "you know (my name here), you have previus tickets for this type of driving..." (Im like, CRAP!)
"but since you didnt lie to me about your speed, ill put down you were only going 40mph"

Our 5.0 Is not cool at all!!!! I just got the sluttest ticket ever. In Oregon we have this dirty law about window tinting, im not sure what the legal limit is else where, but in oregon its ridiculasly light, only 35%. I bought my car from washington where i guess they either have no limit or it is much darker. So when i get pulled over by a cop he says my windows look pretty dark and he decides to check them. Turns out they are at 10%, so i have to either pay a fatty $230 ticket, or get it removed.... This makes the 3rd time i have been pulled over in my teg and i havent even had it for a year.... GD!
