This is my newest project--this 94 T-bird is green but the paint tints out to blue on the edges depending on the viewing angle.

Also another stab at the glass reflections.

hmmm, looks nice, but it really looks like a 95-98 Mustang, especially they front lights. But i may be just me!

Finished the T-bird v-toon.
(The styling is similar to the Mustang)

Looks really good, except the window reflections dont look quite right to me. Actually, mostly just the windshield. Here's a pic I found that is a really good example of how I draw window reflections on freehand drawings. It's sort of exaggerated and really high contrast, but you get the idea. Just use this as an example, then tone it down.

Hope this helps

Thanks--I'll try that type of reflection pattern next.

(This style was my effort to do a reflection as in Lemorris' car-toons.)

Another V-toon with reflections.
(This one seems better with the glass.)

Something is very wrong with the wheels on that Maro.

Yea, I probably "violated' a tooning rule by drawing a 5 spoke wheel with the vertical spoke pointing down, not up.
These are very "toonish' wheels, so they are not elliptical, but I think the center is off on the front wheel.

very nice! Big improvement in the window reflections, and it's only going to get better from here.

Here's one of Greg Tedder's shirt designs. He's an old schooler, but his work is legendary in screenprint circles.

His reflections are always great.

He's a pretty cool dude too.

the camaro v-toon looks great ...
the big question is .. how will he ever drive with that wheels , but thats not the sense of vtoons i guess ;) :D.

Lemorris--I've seen some of Tedder's stuff--the background images are as good as the cars.
The palm tree background must be his personal touch.

Bushman--thanks, my v-toons are all show and little go--none would ever roll very well. (he-he)

the camaro rocks bro !
Wheels on a toon are suppose to be crazy , its a toon . I get that all the time as well .Sometimes I think people forget that there are no rules when tooning .Thats what makes it so much fun , no limits , go nuts and have a blast .

Hey Blip...meet Danny (Kartoonz)

He's another "elder statesman" like me and you. You guys have similar approachs. Danny uses Corel I believe to render over his scanned in sketch...I think.

Danny, you've got great stuff in your gallery.

Kind of like a "Big Daddy", Trosley, Dave Deal & Ed Newton combined into one artist. And that's all digitial/vector drawing?

It's good to have some more company in the ol' school world, lemorris, thanks.

I like the reflections on the Camaro. the wheels are a bit crasy, but that doesn't matter. I always wonder how you do that stuff.

And holy shit... these chevrolets are AWESOME!!!
