I just ordered the Denali front end conversion kit. It uses all GM parts and transforms the front of a Yukon into a Denali. to save some money I am goign to attempt to replace the headlights, grille and parking light section myself.
If anyone has step by step instructions I would be very grateful. If not, I am planning on purchasing a Chilton or some other type of repair manual. Not having ever used a repair manual, will it give step by step instructions on how to accomplishing what I'm attempting?

You bet. And that's the only way to go. I used it to replace my intake gasket in my 99 Malibu, to replace a timing belt in my 92 Corolla, on and on. I have been using them since I was a college student doing an overhall on my 1962 Rambler American Station Wagon!

It's worth having the manual. However, the sections you're talking about are actually quite easy. I've had mine apart at various times for one reason or another. There's a fellow member on SUV World, PAW, who's done the Denali conversion. It'd be worth checking out his gallery and forum posts on that site. Good luck!
