600 CCs too much?

Well im 15 and saving up for a motorcycle and some of you may know.. anyway i was wondering if a GSX-R600 or a Yamaha R6 would be too powerful for me... i wont be getting a motorcycle of probably in a year. ive been riding the dirbikes since i was 10. I would really like to purchase a bike that i would own for a while and im pretty sure if i get too much of a weak bike ill tired of it soon enough... :sleeping:

stay away from streetbikes now. 5 years from now, if you're really serious about it, you'd be much prepared to get a F2/F3 to start on. lol. I think you also started a same topic about this earlier.

There is no "straight" answer. An older, used 600 might be fine. A new one... that's another story.
