this truck will start sometimes and sometimes it takes awhile to start in the mornings. once you get it started it's ok the rest of the day. i've noticed that this problem is getting worse as it gets colder in outdoor temperature. can someone give me a hand with this. thanx.

Got a block heater? Plug it in at night so it starts easy in the morning.

it could be a dirty fuel filter, or the pump starting to go bad. or it could be a sticking injector that is letting the preasure leak down when the truck is shut off overnight.
you might try running some injector cleaner through it to see if that takes care of it.
also, to see if its's the pump of filter, you can put a mechanical fuel preasure guage in it and check the preasure.
oh yea, you might try this too, when you go out to start it, turn the key to the "on" position, and wait a little bit then start it. doing this will alow the pump to run and build preasure before you start it.
