Hot engine in '97 won't start

I have a 1997 with the 5.7 Vortec. If the engine is hot when I turn it off, and wait a while, it won't start. After it cools down it will start just fine. I don't know if it is heat related, but that is how it is acting. When I turn on the ignition I can hear the fuel pump prime the line, but then it just cranks and won't start. Sometimes it won't start after sitting all night, but mostly it is when the engine is hot. The fuel pump, plugs, wires, dist. cap and rotor were all replaced just a few months ago, and as I mentioned, I can hear the pump pressurize the line when I turn on the ignition. It has 101K on it and all the parts I mentioned were replaced at 90K. Any ideas?

You are going to have to check some basics.
You will need to check spark..you can do this by removing 1 plug wire from a plug and place the loose end of the wire close to a ground (engine metal) then spin over the engine..listen and look for spark.
Next, there is a shrader valve on the fuel rail on top of the engine. When the engine will not start, depress this valve and see if gas dibbles out or shoots out
