Strange Heat problem

Since it has gotten very cold, I noticed that the heat in my Convertible does not work as it should. I can't figure this one out, perhaps one of you here have had this problem, or at least would know where I should start looking.

The fan is not the issue, it works on all speeds. When I use the defrosters, the passenger side blows strong and hot, the driver's side blows strong and cold. When I put on the Floor heat, it blows hot on both sides. When I set it to MAX which has a recycle symbol over it, If I have not been using the Defrosters, the air comes out hot on both sides. If I have had the defrosters on, it comes out cold on the driver side, and hot on the passenger side. At least when it's in this mode, it will warm up on the driver's side after a few minutes. On Defroster, it stays cold on the driver side, and never warms up. :banghead:

Any Ideas, or should Rod Serling investigate this one? :grinno:

I thought about that. I have a OEM Shop Service manual on it's way that I bought on eBay. I'll check out the way the doors work. I really don't look forward to trying to squeeze under that dash... :(
