02 dies when coming to a stop!!

:confused: anyone know what would create this problem?? Mom's freaking out she just bought this pre-owned caddy and it had a clean car-fax and all so it could be a problem that is just knw arising!! Anyone else had this problem???

If she bought it from a dealer have them look at it, but I had this sort of problem with my Eclipse and I changed the plugs, wires, and fuel filter, and cleaned the throttle body out. It solved the problem so maybe it will for you too.

Just something you might wanna check, it might be the fuel pressure regulator, check that and a recommended website is www.cadillacowners.com then go to the forums there theyve got alot of advise

The throttle body needs to be cleaned. This in most cases will fix the problem. It is actually very easy to do at home making a inexpencive fix. You just pop off the air duct goin to the engine and use a toothbrush and some throttle body or carb cleaner. Have the throttle held wide open while cleaning. I recommend 3M throttle body cleaner beacause the it can be sprayed upside down and it is safe for coated throttle bodys. Scrub it with the toothbrush and wipe out with lint free rag. Hope this helps

No! Most comonly @ my dealership we had a stalling problem on the 300hp Northstar and the 275hp Northstar which was linked to the crank shaft position sensors. There are two of them located behind the rear exhaust manifold. You need to take off the oil filter and assembly to access the sensors. E-mail me if your still having the stalling problem.
