speakers

I have a 1994 325i conv. and a rear midrange speaker is blown. I want to replace all 4 midrange speakers with aftermarket, but Crutchfield said I have to use OEM speakers or will have to modify. Can anyone tell me of an aftermarket manufacturer that supplies these odd metric sized speakers? I belive they are 3" mid's in the front and 4" in the rear approximately.
